Erin Kanagy-Loux considers herself determined and headstrong and anyone who knows her would say that description is greatly understated. Erin currently works as the Executive Pastry Chef of Reynard at The Wythe Hotel. Her distinctive style draws from her unconventional family background (Japanese and Pennsylvania Dutch) as well as her vast and equally eclectic experience both in cooking and teaching. In 2015, Kanagy-Loux earned a StarChefs Rising Star Hotel Pastry Chef Award for recognition of her technically strong and unique work. And in 2016 she was one of six contestants to compete in Valhrona’s first USA hosted C3 competition and took home the Press Prize.
Michelle Palazzo graduated from The Institute of Culinary Education in 2009. After graduating she’s gained experience and knowledge through time spent at Niko, Lure Fish Bar, and The Hotel Rivington. In 2013 her path led to Reynard and she found a mentor in Chef Erin Kanagy-Loux and has been developing her skill set ever since.
