The Echeveria Colorata is native to Mexico, growing rosettes up to 30 cm in diameter. She’ll thrive in direct sunlight adding a pink/purple coloring at her leaf tips. Echeveria are summer growers so when the air turns hot and dry, you can increase watering for growth. Never water from above.

Dimensions: Approx. 14″H x 7″W (width of rosette)

Commonly called Mexican Giant, the Echeveria Colorata is a succulent. She is planted in a handmade terra cotta pot within porous soil that drains well. As the echeveria ages she will bloom new rosettes and shed leaves closest to her base. The stalk will also take on a woody texture to hold the weight of it’s foliage and stems.

Water in sips into the soil (never directly on the foliage, from above) and watch it drain. Do not dump water, the process should be slow.

Water frequency will depend on your environment, the soil should feel gritty and very dry to the touch. Do not water if soil feels at all moist or easily clumps.
