The Euphorbia Grandicornis is native to South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique and Kenya. They are very easy to care for, as they are extremely drought tolerant. In ideal conditions of sunlight and water, the Grandicornis will bloom tiny yellow flowers growing along his ridges, above the spines.

The Euphorbia Grandicornus is commonly called the Cow’s Horn Euphorbia for the shape of their thorns protruding from the wavy ridges that make up their shapely figure.

This Grandicornus is planted in a 12lb handmade terra cotta pot within extremely porous soil. Never over water this guy. He prefers frequent watering during the hot summer months and sparse watering in the winter.

Water in sips and watch it drain. Do not dump water, the process should be slow. Water frequency will depend on your environment, the soil should feel gritty and bone dry to the touch at least 3″ down from the top before the next watering cycle.
