Join us Wednesday, June 26th from 7-8pm at Tula, for a Plant Reproduction + Propagation class led by horticulturist, Dana Bourne. The workshop will focus on propagation — or simply, how plants make more of themselves– a helpful tool to better understand houseplant growth and health, and a way to grow your houseplant collection for years to come!

With ticket purchase, attendees receive a handful of cuttings to grow, the option to shop 20% off all in-store product (exceptions may apply), plus complimentary refreshments.

Space is limited. All sales are final.

Dana Bourne is an urban farmer and environmental educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Working first as a crew member at Hearty Roots Farm, bringing organic food to communities in the NYC area through a CSA model, and more recently as an environmental educator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden and GrowNYC, Dana has worked with children and adults to connect all New Yorkers to where our food comes from and the land we rely on.

Dana will start by talking through the different ways that plants reproduce–asexually and sexually. She'll then move onto propagation, allowing time for all attendees to take their own cuttings to grow at home.
