The Scindapsus Pictus is native to places like Bangladesh, Thailand, Java and the Philippines. He is a climber and grows under the canopy of large trees and foliage which means he will survive well in indirect light (i.e. a building blocks your sun) and prefers humidity, so we never let his soil dry completely.

Commonly called Silver Satin Pothos, the scindapsus pictus is a variegated version of the common pothos. He is planted in one of our handmade terra cotta pots within soil that retains moisture but still drains well.

Water by filling your sink 3-4″ full of water and place the pot drainage hole down into the water. Let it sit for 2-4 minutes and scoop or water slowly onto the leaves and into the soil. Water will also absorb through the terra cotta and the bottom drainage hole. This method helps keep the foliage clean and retain more moisture.

Water frequency will depend on your environment, please inquire for instructions custom to your space.
