Join us Wednesday June 19th from 7-8PM at Tula in Greenpoint for a discussion on soil science and fertilizer led by Soil Scientist, Jacob Parsons.

Supporting healthy soils is incredibly beneficial to both your plants and you. Healthy soils help bolster our plants against disease, provide essential nutrients, nurture microbial diversity, and may even make our home environments less toxic.

All attendees will go home with one bottle of Good Dirt’s Plant Food fertilizer, which helps to encourage both foliage and root growth. Space is limited. All sales are final.

Teaching the workshop will be Jacob Parsons, our Soil Scientist in residence. Jacob has just completed his Bachelor of Science in Soil Science from Oregon State University and has an abundance of knowledge to share.

During class, he will breakdown soil and why it is the most important element of growing healthy plants. The discussion will also cover the main ingredients of soil and how to ensure your plant is potted with the correct soil. We'll then move onto fertilizer – what is it made of? How to use it? And how healthy soils can also benefit you.

With ticket purchase, you’ll receive one bottle of Good Dirt fertilizer (retail value of $18), the option to shop 20% off all in-store product (exceptions may apply), plus complimentary refreshments.
