Ceropegia Woodii is a trailing, succulent vine prized for it's delicate leaf pattern and cascading growth habit. Also known as the String of Hearts or Rosary Vine, it can grow up to 10ft long. Flowers are small burgundy and bell-shaped.
Native to South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
String of Hearts grow best with a few hours of direct sun and a brightly-lit window. Sun that is too intense can cause surface to burn.
Water Ceropegia sparingly in winter months. During the grow season, water soil thoroughly, allowing it to dry completely in between waterings.
Ceropegia can be easily propagated by stem cuttings in early spring. Cut at least 3-4" down and allow cut end to callous before planting into soil. Fertilize: Fertilize once every two weeks during the active growing season. This is limited to spring and summer in temperate climates.
Approx. 7-9" long x 4-5" at the widest point. Every plant will vary in size, color and shape.
