Com Work Planters are hand built (not wheel thrown) by Toshihiko, a Japanese artist based just outside Kyoto. Toshihiko’s ceramic studio is in the Shiga prefecture which is famous for its ancient ceramics. Toshihiko uses the clay directly from the prefecture for his pottery, which contributes to the areas fame around ceramics.
