Alluaudia procera ‘Lemur Tree’

Native to Madagascar, this plant provides habitat for many, including lemurs. The plant has evolved to grow spines longer than its leaves, which is meant to protect animals, particularly lemurs from eating the leaves. It’s a deciduous tree, meaning that the leaves fall off in the winter and regrow leaves in the summer.

This plant grows best in full-sun, though it can tolerate bright, indirect sunlight.

This plant prefers rocky, well-draining soil. Water once the soil is completely dry, and water less frequently in colder months.

4" Grow pot. Every plant will vary in size, color and shape.
