Anthurium andraeanums enjoy bright indirect light and can adapt to a couple hours of direct sunlight. A few hours of morning sun is ideal and will encourage regular blooming.

These plants enjoy being rootbound in one pot for several years. Repotting should only be done once every two to three years and should always be done with great care to protect their delicate root systems. Fertilize: Anthurium andraeanum are light feeders, but fertilizing will help encourage blooms in the growing season. Feed them once every two weeks using a weak, balanced fertilizer during the spring and summer only.
