Haworthia mirabilis looks like it holds an aquarium in every leaf. Thick, translucent leaves retain water for this drought-tolerant, shade-loving succulent. At Tula, we love this plant for its architectural structure and its autumn blooms, which shoot up on a curling green stalk.
Native to South Africa.
Haworthia mirabilis prefers bright indirect light to maintain its lush, vibrant leaf color. It can tolerate a small amount of direct sunlight.
In the spring and summer months, water them thoroughly, fully saturating the soil. Always allow the soil to dry out completely in between waterings.
Protect this Haworthia from intense afternoon sun as it can burn the leaf ends. For those who don’t have much direct sunlight, but love succulents, this is a perfect specimen for your collection. Fertilize: Fertilize once every two weeks during the active growing season. This is limited to spring and summer in temperate climates.
Approx. 3-4" tall x 4-5" at the widest point. Every plant will vary in size, color and shape.
