The 2-hour, initial At Home Plant Care visit covers the time and expertise of our trained horticulturist to come to your space and assess your plant care and design needs.
We will arrive with a full toolkit to perform plant pruning, minor pest treatment, cleaning, water and lighting advice, and soil health assessment. We will be equipped to service your plants within the two hour block of time. The time can also be used to discuss plant health concerns, and offer expert plant care solutions to build confidence in your overall plant care routine.
We get that plants can be a bit of a mystery, and that it’s not always easy to know what they require to thrive. Our team will explain everything clearly and let you know what your plants need going forward. Tula Gardens holds the right to charge an additional fee for locations outside of our regular service area. Any additional fee will be communicated prior to the appointment confirmation.

Each visit is scheduled for up to two hours. If there are additional plant care services needed, we will confirm all details during the first appointment and schedule a follow-up to complete all services. Additional services may include but are not limited to: repotting, tackling a major pest infestation, or adding new plants to your space.
Once we have completed the initial site visit, we will confirm what your plants need for repotting (soil, planters, fertilizers, etc.) and return for a follow-up visit with all the materials needed.
Indoor plant pests are very common for plant owners and we are happy to help you rid them. Our initial plant maintenance service visit includes pest identification and steps for how to get rid of pests. For major infestations, we may need to schedule a follow-up visit to bring all necessary material once we are able to review the severity of the infestation.
Depending on the amount of maintenance that is needed, we may have to schedule an additional appointment. Tasks such as extensive repotting and serious pest infestations may require us to return with specialized tools and products to effectively complete the work. We’ll always review the cost and time commitment for follow-up visits in advance.
Yes, we prefer that someone in the household is home during our plant care services to let us in and out safely. It is also a great opportunity to speak one-on-one with our expert horticulturists and ask all the questions you want so you’re more knowledgeable about plant maintenance.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. To accommodate such situations, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:
Cancellation Notice:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled date and time will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours the scheduled date and time will incur a 50% charge of the initial payment as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled date and time will forfeit the entire initial payment.
Rescheduling:
- Requests to reschedule made more than 24 hours before the scheduled date and time will be refunded the full amount.
- Requests to reschedule made within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time will incur a 50% charge of the initial payment as a rescheduling fee.
- Rescheduling made within 12 hours of the scheduled date and time will forfeit the entire initial payment.

While we promise to apply our expertise to every service offered, it is important to note that certain outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Specifically:
- We cannot guarantee the complete elimination of pests.
- We cannot ensure plant survival following repotting, heavy pruning, or transplantation, as each plant reacts uniquely to these processes.
- Plant health and outcomes are influenced by a variety of factors, including prior care, environmental conditions, and individual plant responses.
