Can I receive $11.99 Nationwide Flat Rate Shipping?

Our $11.99 Nationwide Flat-Rate Shipping offer applies within the lower 48 states only. It does NOT apply to Hawaii, Alaska, PR, or Canada.

What type of plants do you ship?

We are able to ship most arid plants as well as some small tropical plants. Shipping and packaging can be damaging to delicate plants, and we only ship plants that we know can handle the process and arrive safe and healthy to your door. We will always note on our website if certain plants are NYC local delivery or pickup only for minimal confusion. 

Why are arid roots shipped bare root? 

We ship arid plants bare root as this is the most secure way to transport plants to avoid damage. We can also use less packaging which means less waste! When you plant your new arid plant, avoid watering for 5-7 days.

Does my plant and pot ship as a pre-potted arrangement? 

We ship arid plants bare root as this is the most secure way to transport plants to avoid damage. We can also use less packaging, which means less waste! Our tropical plants are shipped in their grow pots with the soil carefully covered and wrapped so as not to fall apart in transit. Each plant sold online includes a tutorial video on how to pot your new plant in the best way possible.

Where do you ship and what service do you use?

We currently ship to the continental U.S. through UPS.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please reach out to us through our email orders@tula.house with pictures and your order number to resolve any issues. We ask that you alert us within 24 hours of receiving your order. 

I placed my order, how long will it take to ship? 

UPS pickups orders Monday-Friday. For orders placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday they will ship out Monday. For orders placed Monday-Thursday, they are shipped out the next business day. We do not ship orders on the weekend. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been picked up by UPS.

Do you ship in the winter season?

Yes. When shipping during winter months, please take into account severe weather conditions. We will not be responsible for packages left in freezing temperatures. We use hot packs for a fee at checkout. Our team keeps an eye on weather and may hold your order if placed during inclement winter weather. We will inform you if your order is to be held for more than five days. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss timing of shipments in winter at orders@tula.house. 

Local NYC Delivery:

What locations are available for delivery?

We currently use a delivery service that is able to hand deliver your order within Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Prices are based on zones within those boroughs that you can see while you are checking out. 

What days do you deliver?

At this time, we are doing contactless delivering for your orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm-8pm. When checking out, please select the day you would like your order to arrive. 

Will I receive a notification when the driver is en route?

Yes, you will receive a text message when the driver is en route. This is usually within 30 minutes of arrival. Be sure to include your phone number at checkout so the driver is able to contact you as you will also receive a notification when the driver arrives. Please be available to meet the driver immediately. We are not responsible for packages left at the door or in the building lobby if your are unavailable to meet the driver and retrieve your package. 

Will the driver enter my building? 

During this time the driver will not enter any building or be able to help bring plants up to your home. We hope that this will change soon but for the safety of everyone we will continue to practice social distancing.
