Immersive Inspiration
The natural beauty of the indoor waterfall proved pivotal in guiding our design choices. The stonework surrounding the water feature allowed for direct integration of plants, giving them the appearance of growing right out of the stones as they would in nature.
Beyond that, the various levels of the space allowed us to place plantings in unexpected areas. Throughout the venue, the greenery feels organic and immersive. Nothing seems placed or positioned, but rather as though the greenery has naturally taken root.
Lush, Distinct Plantings
The Tula House horticulturists busied themselves selecting interesting plants that would provide bright pops of color alongside lush architectural foliage. This greenery works beautifully around the waterfall and filtered skylight, creating an atmosphere that feels entirely apart from the bustle just outside the venue's door.
Bromeliads
With their rosette foliage and brilliant colors, bromeliads bring a distinctly tropical feel. They add bold contrast among softer, leafy plants.
Ferns
Ferns contribute feathery foliage and layers of rich green to fill shaded areas.
Palms
Palms provide height and structure, anchoring spaces and creating a canopy effect. Mixed with plants of varying heights, they contribute to the multilayered lush effect.
Philodendrons
Thanks to their vigorous growth, philodendrons create density. Vining outward and upward, they fill spaces and enhance the venue’s immersive feel.
