Our collaboration with the globally recognized art gallery, Hauser & Wirth, represents the fusion of horticulture and artistry we love in garden design. Within the new headquarters of Hauser & Wirth in Chelsea NYC, Tula House was asked to bring an indoor garden to life. Our vision was to transcend conventional office landscapes by introducing a lush, tropical environment that not only elevates the aesthetic value of the workplace but also enhances the well-being and creative inspiration of its inhabitants.
Our design concept revolved around crafting a tropical landscape that not only sits majestically above the office but also intertwines seamlessly with the various workspaces, fostering a symbiotic relationship between nature and the artistic expressions that define Hauser & Wirth. By incorporating lush foliage and cascading greenery, we aimed to evoke a sense of serenity and invigoration throughout the headquarters. This living, breathing ecosystem serves as a constant reminder of the beauty of the natural world, encouraging moments of reflection and connection among those who enter this space.
The partnership with Hauser & Wirth provided an exceptional opportunity to push the boundaries of traditional indoor garden design, allowing us to blend our expertise in horticulture with the gallery's rich heritage in contemporary art. The result is a dynamic and immersive environment that enhances the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the headquarters, creating a setting where art, nature, and architecture coalesce to offer an unparalleled experience for employees and visitors alike.
