Anthurium radicans x luxurians, often called Anthurium "Jungle King," is a striking hybrid plant known for its glossy, deeply-lobed foliage and unique veining patterns.New growth will emerge in a red-tone and then mature into a deep green. This plant grows best in bright, indirect light. Look out for sunburns if the plant gets more than a few hours of direct sunlight. This plant likes the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Once the top half feels dry to the touch, feel free to water again. They can dry out completely, but don’t leave it for too long without watering.

Astrophytum asterias variegated is a small, and slow growing cultivar of the Astrophytum asterias cactus. Its coloration and surface patterns are unique to every plant, making it a coveted and rare plant for any collection. Grow the Astrophytum asterias variegated in a hot, sunny window but be careful of glass magnification when grown on windowsills for surface burn. Water during the hot summer months. Let the soil dry out between waterings. During the winter months, water sparingly. Cold temperatures, low light and wet soil will quickly lead to root or stem rot. Astrophytum asterias variegated can be propagated from seed. Apply a water-soluble, balanced fertilizer monthly during the summer months to promote healthy growth and flowers.

The Fruitpocalypse hits Tula House! We're thrilled to introduce our latest planter collaboration with the incredibly talented artist, Sarah Hughes, known to her fans as Fruitpocalypse. Sarah’s signature style, known for its playful and meticulous detail, brings an exciting burst of life into every piece she creates. All vessels are handmade and each piece is slightly different. She began making small sculptural pieces three years ago at her local ceramic studio, Gasworks, and has since progressed to making larger sculptures and vessels. Her work has been exhibited at multiple group shows in artist-run galleries, such as Deep Space in Jersey City, Public Swim Gallery in New York City, Well Well Projects in Portland, OR, and Shoebox Projects in Los Angeles. Her work has been sold in shops in New York and London.  

The Astrophytum Asterias Superkabuto, native to the arid landscapes of northeastern Mexico, is a highly sought-after cactus with a unique, almost ethereal beauty. This rare variety, known for its rounded, spineless shape, is a cultivar of the Astrophytum Asterias species, bred to produce its signature white, speckled markings. These distinctive white flecks blanket the cactus’s green surface like stars scattered across the night sky, making each plant a one-of-a-kind and a prized piece for collectors. In its natural habitat, the Superkabuto grows low to the ground, blending into rocky, sun-drenched terrain. To replicate these conditions at home, it thrives best in bright, indirect light and requires minimal watering, as the soil should fully dry out between waterings. A well-draining cactus or succulent mix is essential, as the plant is sensitive to root rot. Though this cactus can handle high temperatures, it should be protected from frost and kept in a warm, dry spot to ensure its health.

Stenocereus beneckei, often called the "Organ Pipe Cactus," is a visually striking cactus known for its tall, cylindrical stems that grow in clusters, mimicking the pipes of an organ. Native to the arid regions of Mexico, this cactus features vibrant green, thickly ribbed columns with well-defined ridges that serve as structural adaptations to conserve water in desert environments. Stenocereus beneckei thrives in bright, direct sunlight and requires well-draining soil to prevent root rot. When watering, allow the soil to dry completely between sessions, as this cactus is drought-tolerant and sensitive to overwatering. During the growing season, water moderately, reducing the frequency in winter when the plant enters dormancy.

This design is in honor of the threshold between our Arid and Tropical Rooms. We built this archway as a window between two worlds and made it a centerpiece of the store. We have always loved the history and typology of archways and the way they mark transitions, frame moments, and invite you into a new space. Finished in Tula House blue and yellow, with NYC proudly stamped on its back. Designed in Brooklyn and produced in Japan, this limited-edition TOMODACHI celebrates the shared love of plants, design, and creativity that connects our worlds. Sofubi is short for “soft vinyl,” referring to a traditional Japanese method of hand-casting collectible figures from soft PVC. Originating in the 1960s toy and kaiju culture, sofubi are prized for their hand-sculpted forms, small-batch production, and painterly finishes — giving each piece a distinct, artful character that blurs the line between toy and sculpture. Money Tree is a lush, sculptural tropical plant with bright green leaves and a sturdy trunk that gives it an easy architectural presence in the home. Native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, it became widely known as the “Money Tree” in Taiwan in the 1980s, where it has been associated with good fortune, wealth, and prosperity. Money Trees grow best in very bright, indirect light, though they can tolerate lower light conditions. In lower light, growth will be slower and the plant may produce fewer new leaves. Water when the soil has dried about halfway to completely dry, then give it a thorough soak and allow excess water to drain. The plant stores some water in its roots and trunk, but it should not sit dry for too long or remain soggy. Small - 4" Medium - 6" Large - 10"

Terra cotta dish saucer

Spathiphyllum wallisii, commonly known as the Peace Lily, is a lush tropical houseplant loved for its deep green leaves and elegant white blooms. Its soft, upright shape brings a calm, clean feeling to the home, making it a classic choice for shelves, corners, offices, and lower-light rooms. Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, Peace Lilies grow along the forest floor where light is filtered and the soil stays lightly moist. Indoors, they do best in medium to bright, indirect light, but can tolerate lower light conditions. More light will encourage fuller growth and more frequent blooming, while direct sun can burn the leaves. Water when the soil has dried about halfway down, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Peace Lilies like consistent moisture, but should never sit soggy. If the plant gets too dry, the leaves will dramatically droop, but they usually perk back up after a good watering. This plant is toxic to pets if ingested. Small - 4" Medium - 6" Large - 10"
